The Day board is the shop's home screen. It shows every open job: checked in, car here or not, estimate sent, approved, parts ordered, ready for pickup.
Yellow pills like Needs check-in or Checked in, car not here flag jobs that need attention.
Bay balance shows which tech and bay each job is on, how many hours each tech has, and who is stacked. Suggest balance proposes moves; nothing moves until you accept.
Waiting on customer means the estimate was sent and the customer hasn't answered, so call the customer. Waiting on parts means parts are ordered but not here yet, so call the parts store. When parts arrive, tap Parts are here on the RO and the job moves to In shop / working.
Job update texts (Settings): the estimate link, "parts are on order" and ready-for-pickup texts already go out automatically. Two extras are off until you turn them on: a parts arrived text, and unsigned estimate reminders every 48 hours (2 max, they stop when the customer signs or declines, or the job is cancelled). The RO shows how many reminders went out and when the next one is due. Texts only go to customers who agreed to texts, never after STOP, never 9 PM to 8 AM, and never with prices, part numbers, brands or suppliers.
The board refreshes itself every minute.
If Google reviews is connected, your star average and new reviews show here too.
