Financial → Profit per hour (owner only) shows what each billed hour earns, automatically from your invoices and expenses. No spreadsheet and no QuickBooks wizard.
Break-even per billed hour: overhead expenses in the period divided by billed hours. Inventory bought through Shop & inventory orders is left out until it's used, same as the Profit & Loss.
Gross profit per billed hour: labor plus parts sold, minus parts and sublet cost, on paid jobs, divided by their billed labor hours.
Profit per hour after overhead: the gap between the two. Green is above break-even, red is below.
Pick this week, this month (default) or this year. With no billed hours yet, the per-hour numbers wait instead of showing nonsense.
By tech: each tech's billed hours and gross profit per hour (by the tech assigned to the job).
Trend: profit per hour after overhead for each of the last 12 weeks.
Where each billed hour goes: Building (rent, utilities), Business (marketing, other), Insurance, Office (software), Shop (tools, supplies, vehicle), Payroll, and your Profit goal.
Profit goal per month: set it on the card to see the gross profit per hour you need to cover overhead plus the goal.
Hours come from the labor lines on paid invoices; expenses come from Financial → Expenses. Keep both up to date and the numbers keep themselves.
